Responsive recruiter
Kind Senior Care is seeking an Executive Director to provide comprehensive leadership for our growing Massachusetts business. We are looking for an experienced leader, with strong relationships within the senior care industry in Essex and Middlesex counties, to oversee day-to-day operations and expand our presence in the community. If you have experience leading a senior living community (assisted living, memory care, independent living, skilled nursing facility), home care agency or similar programs, this may be a great role for you. Even if you aspire to be in a role like this, but don't have the opportunity with your current organization, this may be your opportunity.

You will be joining a fast-growing company that has earned Activated Insights’ Best of Homecare Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice awards for 4 consecutive years. We pride ourselves on being an awesome place to work, and we believe that our “Caregiver first” philosophy ultimately delivers the best client experience and outcome.

You will be hands on with all aspects of the organization, with a primary focus on client care and business development. You will have the opportunity to lead and mentor office and clinical staff and help us continue to build a strong culture of compassion, integrity, and innovation. Although there is plenty of time for office work, you will be out and about in the community on a regular basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community and meeting with seniors, elder care professionals, and working directly with care staff.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and overall performance of Kind Senior Care in Massachusetts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of office and clinical staff, ensuring excellence in client care and wellbeing.
  • Support growth by building relationships with referral partners—Social Workers, Discharge Planners, ALCA professionals, Executive Directors of senior communities, and more.
  • Represent Kind at key community and industry events.
  • Be hands-on and visible, spending time in the community as well as in the office.
What Success Looks Like

  • Growing client hours and referrals.
  • Low caregiver turnover and high client/caregiver satisfaction scores.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills that inspire trust and drive results.
What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in the senior care industry.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, managing direct reports and care staff (companions, PCA, CNA, HHA, etc.).
  • A proven track record of operational and business development success.
  • Strong relationships in the senior care industry across Essex and Middlesex counties.
  • Excellent organizational, networking, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and make decisions with confidence.
Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Generous vacation time
  • 401(k) plan
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • And overall, a dynamic place to work—a culture built on compassion, integrity, and innovation where people truly enjoy what they do.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
