Kind is seeking a CNA, HHA, RN, or candidate with equivalent experiences to join our team as an After Hours Care Coordinator who can support our care team in the field on nights and weekends and can uphold our high standard of care. Purpose:
The After Hours Care Coordinator is responsible for supporting our leadership team in providing excellent home care services beyond regular office hours on weeknights and on weekends.
 
Main Duties:
  • Answer all phone calls outside of regular office hours (weekdays- 4:30 pm-8:00 am; weekends or holidays – 8:00 am-8:00 am).
  • Politely and efficiently resolve any client service issues, scheduling issues or adjustments.
  • Monitor the After-hours email and care log.
  • Serve as “fill-in” Caregiver when you are unable to fill shifts. This is an essential requirement of the position! Caregiving time is well compensated.
  • Any other tasks requested by Kind Senior Care Office Staff.
Other Requirements:
  • After hours staff must have reliable phone service and internet access throughout their shift.
  • After hours staff must be available and able to answer and respond to incoming phone calls throughout their shift.
  • When not actively taking calls or completing follow through, on-call staff is free to utilize their time as they see fit, if they are able to meet the above requirements.
  • Current Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), Registered Nurse certification or equivalent experience is required for this role.
After-hours Scheduling Coordinator Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role within office or customer service setting; preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Passion for helping seniors remain safe and independent wherever they call home.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle and smart phone.
  • Ability to complete a Driving Record check and Background check.  
Guaranteed Minimum Pay:
  • Weekdays: Pay for 2.5 hours at $25/hour = $62.50/day.
  • Weekends: Pay for 4 hours at $25/hour = $100/day.
  • Holidays: Pay for 5 hours at $25/hour = $125.
  • Any time worked beyond these guaranteed hours will be compensated at the regular rate of $25 per hour.
